Some thoughts….
•June 19, 2009 • Leave a CommentToday I heard that a girl I know (just a little kid) made a pro-choice speech at her school. And she’s a Catholic. What is our country coming to? What is happening to our youth? Is it peer pressure? Are kids becoming weaker, just going with popular beliefs? Believing what’s more widely supported, than what’s right? These days, more than ever, we need to keep our eyes and ears open. That’s what happened in World War ll. People were brainwashed. They listened to what Hitler said, instead of finding things out for themselves. It looked like Hitler would make life better for them, so they just went along with him. And just look at what happened.
In this world, we need people to be strong-minded and intelligent. Especially children. We don’t need any more “fence-sitters”. I seriously don’t think Obama will do anything good for our country. But maybe I just have my eyes open. Maybe I’m one of those people who actually thinks. Look at what we know about Obama. Hardly anything. That can’t be good.
Everybody deserves life. Your mother could have decided to abort you. Sure, your life hasn’t been all fun in games, but it’s been important. Imagine all the people you know. They wouldn’t have known you. Their lives would have been missing something. The world would have been missing something.
We need to make up our own minds about things and never let people do it for us. I like being different from most people my age. My favorite activities are reading, writing, discussing books, talking about random things, and just thinking.
Okay. Done rambling.
An Open Letter to President Obama – Lou Pritchett
•June 19, 2009 • Leave a CommentAN OPEN LETTER TO OBAMA (not “my” president)
Dear President Obama:
You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and unlike any of the others, you truly scare me.
You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you.
You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive Ivy League education and your upscale lifestyle and housing with no visible signs of support..
You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth growing up in America and culturally you are not an American.
You scare me because you have never run a company or met a payroll.
You scare me because you have never had military experience, thus don’t understand it at its core.
You scare me because you lack humility and ‘class’, always blaming others.
You scare me because for over half your life you have aligned yourself with radical extremists who hate America and you refuse to publicly denounce these radicals who wish to see America fail.
You scare me because you are a cheerleader for the ‘blame America’ crowd and deliver this message abroad.
You scare me because you want to change America to a European style country where the government sector dominates instead of the private sector.
You scare me because you want to replace our health care system with a government controlled one.
You scare me because you prefer ‘wind mills’ to responsibly capitalizing on our own vast oil, coal and shale reserves.
You scare me because you want to kill the American capitalist goose that lays the golden egg which provides the highest standard of living in the world.
You scare me because you have begun to use ‘extortion’ tactics against certain banks and corporations.
You scare me because your own political party shrinks from challenging you on your wild and irresponsible spending proposals.
You scare me because you will not openly listen to or even consider opposing points of view from intelligent people.
You scare me because you falsely believe that you are both omnipotent and omniscient.
You scare me because the media gives you a free pass on everything you do.
You scare me because you demonize and want to silence the Limbaughs, Hannitys, O’Reillys and Becks who offer opposing, conservative points of view.
You scare me because you prefer controlling over governing.
Finally, you scare me because if you serve a second term I will probably not feel safe in writing a similar letter in 8 years.

Why I’m Voting Democrat….
•June 19, 2009 • Leave a Comment-I found this article on someone’s blog, and thought it was very amusing. No, I did NOT vote Democrat.-
Why I’m voting Democrat:
I’m voting Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.
I’m voting Democrat because freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.
I’m voting Democrat because when we pull out of Iraq I trust that the bad guys will stop what they’re doing because they now think we’re good people.
I’m voting Democrat because I believe that people who can’t tell us if it will rain on Friday CAN tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don’t start driving a Prius.
I’m voting Democrat because I’m not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.
I’m voting Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as THEY see fit.
I’m voting Democrat because I believe three or four pointy headed elitist liberals need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would NEVER get their agendas past the voters.
I’m voting Democrat because I believe that when the terrorists don’t have to hide from us over there, when they come over here I don’t want to have any guns in the house to fight them off with.
I’m voting Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I’ve decided to marry my horse.
I’m voting Democrat because I believe oil companies’ profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn’t.
Hi to the World of Political Blogging!
•June 10, 2009 • Leave a CommentConservative Chick here. I’ve had one politic blog before which some of my friends were on as well – www.kidpolitics08.blogspot.com. Most people know me as Rin from The Inkworld – www.ennainkgirl.blogspot.com. That is my main blog. A book blog. As a lot of people know, I am an extremely bookish person. Actually, that’s an understatement. Anyway, I felt like getting all heated up over politics once more so I have now created this awesome blog. Enjoy!
